Africa: Inspired and Moved
I took a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Africa this past Fall and visited Zambia, Botswana and Zimbabwe for a wedding industry summit. If you’ve ever been to our studio, you’ll know that I’ve always been inspired by African culture and being immersed in it for almost two weeks was such a gift. The spirit of the people and country simply move you. The heat, the sounds, the wildlife and the joy. There is so much I could say with the imprint left upon my heart. You know I am longwinded and a storyteller, but for now in 150 characters or less:
3 flights, overnights, finally the sun. heards graze, sunny daze, drought dries the earth. water falls, night falls, beats move from feet to soul. Black joy is felt and dealt, received with open arms.
